The first step in a series of maneuvers👩🏫
"The best view comes after the hardest climb"
B.Ed is not an easy course to complete. It is hard and it demands a lot of our time, effort and energy. But nonetheless the love we get from our students while taking a class will make all the effort we put in worth it.
First phase of our teaching internship began on 5th January 2022, Wednesday. Our team included 5members - three from Malayalam option (Maya.L, Akhila.A and Jomy Sara John) and myself and Mumthaz.H from English option. Government HSS Chavara was assigned to us for teaching practice. We reached the school on 5th by 9:30am and saw Mr. Sasi Sir, Senior Staff Assistant. We gave our attendance register to him and he asked us to go and see our subject teachers. Jyolsla Ma'am who is in charge of English said that we can't take any classes till monday because exams are being conducted for classes VIII and XII. Some of us went for exam duty and others sat there completing our works. Pretty much the same things happened the next two days too. On 7th January (Friday), Jyolsla Ma'am asked me to take online class for two divisons (D and I) of VIII. I started my class at 7:00pm. About 20 students attended the online class. We had a small interactive session where I asked my students to introduce them. After that we played a small game called "Quick Draw", I guess that game made the class more lively and interesting. After that I gave a small introduction of the chapter and wind up the class.
